Dr R. Vijaya MD, DGO, the loving founder of RRPCT, has made an ever lasting impression in the minds of the people who have a good fortune of having contact with her and for activities to cherish those memories very dearly. Dr. R. Vijaya’s dreams and dream-come-true deliberations and activities to uplift the societal stature of this Pillaiyarpati Village and people around have made indelible marks in the mental firmament of all the persons.

Quite tiffingly, her desire then to be able to perform the Silver Jubilee Function has approached at this time. The unique desire of the heart of Mrs. V.Vijayalakshmi, the trustee of RRPCT to unveil the best size statue of Dr. R. Vijaya MD, DGO on this occasion was welcomed by everybody unanimously and hence it was ordered. There was a big plan to celebrate the function with pomp and pageantry, inviting noted and close persons to the dais to utter the words of blessings on the glorious functions of the Trust, in the educational field and the creation of an atmosphere to protect the old, clueless persons.

Pontiff of Sri. Ramakrishna math was requested to be the Chief Guest. Sri S. Venkatesan, also a trustee of RRPCT took up the responsibility of presenting the inaugural address. Dr. P. Nalini, doctor and ex HOD of Paediatrics in JIPMER, Puducherry, who is also the niece of the founder of the RRPCT and the proud awardee of Padma Shree Status was invited to the dias.

Sri V. Rangarajan, the Managing Trustee of RRPCT, who is a Vice President of a cluster of companies in the USA and also specifically the brother’s son of Dr. R Vijayaya was also present in the dias.

Dr. Sundera Vadhani MD DGO, a colleague of Dr. R. Vijaya was also present there.

All these people were showering analogies on Dr. R. Vijaya MD. DGO, the founder of this RRPCT. They were also giving guidance to run the activities and the Trust in a grand manner. Sri V. Rangarajan gave his voice taking a vow to upgrade the educational standards of the school of the Trust.

Administrative Officer (Mr. SriRajan) of the school and the Principal (Mrs. K.Savithri) gave their respective speeches.

Mr. Raghunathan, the dejacto Managing Trustee of the Trust presented his Valedictory address. Amidst these events, the statue was opened by our chief guest, the Pontiff of the Sri Ramakrishna Math. The function came to a conclusion with the National Anthem.

Pontiff of Ramakrishna Math, Swami Vimurthananda ji was invited to preside over the function of Dr. R. Vijaya’s Statue unveiling. His holiness of the math was very much impressed by our school Swami Dayananada and expressed a desire to impart the moral teachings to the students of our school.

On 18th July, the saint of the math invited the sixth standard students for a special visit. All the students were made to participate in various activities to boost up the exuberance of the students. The students also joined in soulful bhajans led by another revered saint of the Math, creating an atmosphere of devotion and delight, bringing joy to the students by making them participate in them.

Swami Vimurthananda Ji gave a wonderful talk about what faculties these children should develop in their life. It was an interactive session of utter usefulness.

The visit concluded with a delicious lunch lovingly served to all students. It was a memorable day filled with learning, joy, and spiritual enrichment.
